We’re forming a superstar rock band made up entirely of kids under fourteen years old – in one week!

The show will audition talented musicians aged 8-14 through video submissions.

Then, fifteen-year-old YouTube phenomenon Justin Bieber, the naturally talented musician, protégé of superstar Usher, and Kidd Kraddick will co-produce an original song that the new band will play live on air a mere 7 days later!

Teachers from The Paul Green School of Rock will be in the studio working alongside Justin Bieber coaching and teaching the kids during our weeklong rock camp. School of Rock is the nation’s original and premier source for performance-based rock music education. With over 50 schools across the nation, School of Rock helps thousands of kids ages 7-18 live their dream of becoming outstanding musicians. The program consists of weekly, individualized instruction in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals & Keyboards augmented by weekly group rehearsals and frequent live rock shows!

Auditions are open for talented musicians between the ages of 8 and 14 who would like to be part of Rock Camp. Record a new video of yourself playing your instrument or singing solo and then post it on You Tube. Once posted, send the link to the video by e-mail to Contest@kiddnation.com no later than July 13, 2009. Remember, you have to be in Dallas and be available for full-time rehearsals and production from July 20th to July 28th.
